Management Computer Services, Inc. (MCS) is now offering PHA-Web, an Internet based software for housing authorities. The Massachusetts Certification Manager is a component of PHA-Web.

The Massachusetts Certification Manager assists housing authorities in completing rent calculations for Massachusetts state housing programs.  The Massachusetts Certification Manager calculates tenant rent for the 200, 667, 689, and 705 public housing programs.  The Massachusetts Certification Manager also performs the rent calculations for the Alternative Housing Voucher Program (AHVP), Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program (MRVP), and Department of Mental Health (DMH) rental assistance program.

The Massachusetts Certification Manager utilizes the exclusive MCS Red Flag Validation feature.  This attribute provides real-time data validation as the form information for a program participant is entered.  Invalid data is marked by a red flag as it is detected.  A message explaining how to correct the data will be displayed as well.

The Massachusetts Certification Manager produces a Massachusetts Certification form, Income and Asset Verification form, and a Rent Calculation Worksheet.  The Massachusetts Certification Manager is integrated with the Letter Manager to produce form letters to the family.
